TENDER NOTICE

               Sealed tenders are invited from reputed registered firms for the purchase of following items for Fuel Testing, Soil (Clay) & burnt Clay Brick Testing, Laboratory by Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises - Development Institute, Govt. of India, 10–Industrial Estate, Pologround, Indore (MP), for setting up of VSBK demonstration Center at Indore under the scheme of Technology and Quality Up gradation support of package for Micro and small Enterprises during 2009-10.

 

The details of testing equipments etc. are given below:

Fuel Testing Equipments

1.1.1.

Digital bomb calorimeter

Suitable for measuring calorific values of soiled fuels as per British Standard specification BS 1016. Complete with accessories, bomb, calorimetric vessel with bomb support, water jacket, stirrer, electronic firing unit with digital thermometer. The bomb should preferably be made of SS 316 as per Institute of Petroleum (I.P. 12/63T. Appendix 1) specifications. The calorimetric vessel should be made with rust proof SS. The bomb calorimeter should be able to operate on 230 V AC, 50 HZ.

Inner chamber of 1 ft x 1 ft x 1ft, with a maximum operating temperature of 3000C. Made of SS inner chamber and MS outer casing. Should also contain 3 nos. adjustable trays for supporting drying materials.

Agate mortar and pestle having a 6 inch outer diameter.

Borosil make having a diameter of 10 cm and height 1 cm.

Stainless steel flat containers capable of mixing 20 kg of soil mixture at a time

Digital table top weighing balance having a maximum capacity to weigh 10 kg with an accuracy of 1 gm. Should be operating under AC and also battery.

Sieve shaker and sieve sets

Hand driven cam operated sieve shaker capable of accommodating 8 sieves and adjustable. Sieve sets should be of 25 microns, 75 microns, 150 microns, 300 microns, 600 microns, 1.18 mm and 2.36 mm with pan. Sieves should conform to IS specifications.

Operating AC motor of 1/20 HP with 4000 rpm. Vertical stirring capability with adjustable stand. Suitable for stirring or laboratory use.

Compression testing machine

Analogue digital compression testing machine having a capacity of 1000 KN and a least count of 5KN. Electrically operated under AC. Maximum clearance between plates should be more than 350 mm with a 250 mm plate diameter

Lab Testing

 

 

1.4.1.

Container for water absorption

Leak proof MS containers having a size of 2 ft x 2 ft and a depth of at least 6 inches.

Scale

Vernier Calipers for measuring a maximum length of 30 cm.

Temperature measuring gauge

Hand held dial gauge indicator with a maximum operating range of 300oC and a resolution of 2oC

CR/Al type battery operated (9V DC) digital indicator having a maximum operating temperature of 1200oC

Thermocouples

Flexible K-type thermocouples suitable for fitting into a hand held digital indicator.  Length of the thermocouples should be 2.75m with 4 mm diameter.  Maximum operating temperature is 1200oC.

Supplier will provide 10 days practical training on Laboratory Testing to G & C Officer and other staff at MSME-DI premises.

 

            The above items are FOR destination Indore and subject to inclusive of packaging charges, taxes, levies, transportation, commissioning & other charges.

 

       Envelop should be sealed & superscripted as “Quotation for Lab. Testing Equipments for VSBK Technology”.

 

Sealed tender should be submitted to The Director, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises - Development Institute, 10 –Industrial Estate, Pologround,Indore-452015 (MP) or on before 22nd  March, 2010 at 15:00 hrs and same will be opened at 16:00 hrs on same day in the presence of Committee Members. Bidders may be present if desire.

 

            The Director of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises - Development Institute, INDORE reserves all rights to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
